Podcast Episode with The Keystone: The Importance of Storytelling for Regional Startup Ecosystems
Earlier this year, I had the great pleasure of joining The Keystone for a special podcast recording accompanied by Holly Beilin from Engage Ventures to dig into the startup landscape here in the Southeastern U.S.
It was a treat getting to discuss the strengths and opportunities for growth in the Southeast with Holly, who has written countless features on startups spanning the region over the course of her 3.5 years as Editor In Chief for Hypepotamus. She is now the Director of Engage Ventures, a fantastic investment group based in Atlanta who Mucker Capital co-invested with in Resilia’s recent $8M Series A financing.
Special thanks to Charlton Cunningham and Yuval Yarden for inviting me to participate and for putting together such a fantastic lineup including the likes of Brad Feld, Mary Grove, Lakshmi Shenoy, and other startup ecosystem leaders.
Charlton also happens to be one of my collaborators for Build In SE and leads our efforts in the Atlanta market. He has his hand in no fewer than one million fantastic projects, so I turn to him when I have questions about what is new and cool across all things ecosystem building.
